The Cure Disintegration Vinyl Review

While disintegration has my favorite color scheme and cover there is no other cure album with artwork as cool as this.
The cure disintegration vinyl review. Just wait until you open the lyric book. They d always been good at this kind of album too. Sides b and d have scratchy persistent surface noise throughout the entire sides which you can hear through the music. Well disintegration hasn t been remastered yet so that solves that issue right there.
I think the cd on the market sounds fine. So i just had to pick up the record and vinyl records have a warmer sound to them being that they are analog vs digital recordings. Disintegration does not scatter it s a single grand dense continual epic trip into core stuff the cure did well. The album is crisp and clean.
Disintegration is a desert island album for me so with the release of the 2010 remaster with all 12 songs across 2 discs i couldn t wait. Disintegration is a great album of course but my one star rating here is for the lousy quality of the vinyl. It s not just the child like scrawling of the cover. Disintegration is a great album of course but my one star rating here is for the lousy quality of the vinyl.
So like many others have stated here the pressing plant seems to have done a botched job with these. 5 0 out of 5 stars fill my heart with love reviewed in the united kingdom on 23 december 2016 with a reputation as purveyors of gloomy introspection this the cure s eighth studio album has often been seen as their defining statement. Both faith and 17 seconds remasters sound fine to me as well 17 seconds sounds pretty improved actually. I own all of the cure on cd including the deluxe box sets but as they say vinyl is king.
The 2010 reissue on vinyl is absolutely what to get if you want it on wax.
